Fall Flavors

The Holidays are fast approaching, and with them come warm, comforting flavors of the Autumn harvest. We decided to keep our flavor of the month from October. This sourdough is packed full of crunchy walnuts, and dried cranberry tang that pairs beautifully with the bread’s signature sour profile. It is excellent for dipping into baked brie, or as a post-Thanksgiving turkey sandwich.

On the subject of holiday fare, our bread will soon be available cubed and dried for stuffing. 1 loaf of original sourdough per bag of cubes for $7.

Finally, quick update from the bakery: though the Farmer’s Market is over, we will still have our bread available at Kodiak Harvest food co-op. Due to logistics issues, we cannot offer our entire range of breads at the co-op. A list of what we will have to offer will be available at kodiakharvest.org, and we will keep you posted on our facebook page, and this blog. This week, we will be selling our spent grains loaves, focaccia, and original sourdough.
